As many of you know, our aim has been, not only to provide portable sensory equipment and rehabilitation equipment to those who need it folowing brain injury, but also to equip and maintain sensory environments.
I am very excited to report that our first multi sensory room - to be called Anna's Room will be opened at Salisbury Ditrict Hospital's new Childrens Unit by the end of 2010. We have already received the first draught of the design and will confirm this soon.
We are still hoping that space will become available at Southampton General Hospital for a multi sensory room, but sadly have no news yet.
It is thanks you all of you and thanks to our hard working fundraisers that this has become possible. A dream about to come true. Hopefully it will the first of many and we are already working on the possibility of an Anna's Room sensory garden! No stopping us now.
