Vicky House Fete

27 July 2009 05:49

We had been invited by Victoria House Rehabilitation Unit at Southampton General Hospital to attend their Summer Fete to raise funds for Anna's Room. As you know we support them wholeheartedly in any way we can so were delighted to join them. Kirsty and Dan, Sandy and I and Anna all descended on the car park. The sun shone and we set up our bottle stall and a table with inormation aout Anna's Room. We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon catching up with old friends and raising over £110.00. Helping us too were Sue, Rob and Cognac (Pat Dog) who have visited Anna for over three and a half years. They have been a huge part of her rehabilitation and have become good friends. By 'persuading' people to pat Cognac and smile they helped to add to the total raised. Thank you to everyone who supported us. Please continue to support Victoria House. The Wessex Neurological Centre is a centre of excellence in the South of England and beyond - they are lucky to have a rehabilitaion unit which continues with their excellent work. I have never come accross such a dedicated team of people who give their time so freely way beyond that expected of them. Thank you for letting us be part of your day.
