PATRON: ANNA GILCHRIST
(Our inspiration and motivation)
TRUSTEES
Chairman: Sue Gilchrist
Anna's mum. Retired Practice Secretary of a private physiotherapy clinic and before that Principal of a playgroup for 3 - 5 year olds. Most of my time is now spent as a 'professional' mum, wife and handbag shopper! I also love gardening, walking, travelling and food.
Lucy Kinton
Consultant neurologist at Southampton and Basingstoke Hospitals looking after patients with different forms of brain injury - Anna was a patient of mine when I was registrar in Southampton. My special interest, which I developed within neurology both in London and Melbourne, is in the treatment of epilepsy. Outside work I am a violinist playing in Winchester and Solent Symphony Orchestras as well as in a string quartet with friends. I also enjoy skiing, hiking and eating Marmite!
Kirsty Rolfe
Anna's sister and also an experienced buyer with over fifteen years experience working for well known High Street retailers. I enjoy travelling, reading and socialising as well as supporting the local football team - much prefers Bovril to Marmite!
Sally Rolfe
Qualified as a doctor in1961 from Charing Cross Hospital and after a number of hospital posts went into General Practice on the Surrey/Hants borders where I remained for 35 years retiring as senior partner of the biggest practice in Surrey. I like film, theatre, tennis and am a sad supporter of Charlton Athletic Football Club! Proud to be the mother of three and grandmother of two.
Valerie Lenihan
Anna's Auntie. Recently retired from a very enjoyable and hugely demanding job as Head of Talent and Leadership Development for BT. I enjoy cottage gardening, entertaining, antique auctions and exploring the countryside here and in France in my newly acquired motor home.
Lisa Cooper
I am a Registered Nurse and for most of my career have worked in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation. I used to work in Southampton Wessex Neurological Unit where I met Anna on the Neuro Rehab Unit and I now currently manage a private Neuro Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation unit. I have a passion for the field of Neuro and love rehab because I enjoy being part of a team, working with not only the patient but also with their families. Outside of work I like to travel and have lived in New Zealand and the Channel Islands but visited many other places and love to experience new cultures. I enjoy spending time with my partner and his children – who certainly keep me active, and I have been known to do the odd half marathon and 10 mile run – though not sure I’d call it pleasure, much prefer yoga for that! And I hate marmite!!!
